Enabling Cocreation With Transformative Interventions: An Interdisciplinary Conceptualization of Consumer Boosting

Service research emphasizes the relevance of consumers’ participation in cocreation transformative outcomes like health and well-being. However, complex services, limited operant resources lacking resource integration efficiency hinder value cocreation. on mechanisms that facilitate well-being through efficient is sparse, but several disciplines elaborate cognitive interventions with target. These have been validated various contexts. Nevertheless, concerns persist they can hurt, rather than help, individual consumers. Overcoming such limitations requires an interdisciplinary effort. The present article outlines new area “transformative consumer interventions” (TCI) by integrating theory, psychology, service a context. TCI provide theory-driven principles for selection design services. Additionally, we conceptualize boosting, first TCI-based intervention construct. Consumer boosts are efficient, context-specific, personalized enhance individuals’ resources. boosting provides pathway to alleviates risk unintended consequences co-destruction. This illustrates domain stands benefit substantially from getting involved discussion offers unique perspective further conceptual elaboration.
